Following the Test & Delivery Review Board (TRB/DRB) with our customers Rovsing and Airbus Defence & Space (ADS), the Copernicus LSTM MPDU 32A/63A has been delivered to Airbus Defence & Space in Spain and the relevant incoming inspection was successfully performed!
The MPDU is based on the iSAFT Rack Cabinet Power Distribution Unit product family.
Thank you Rovsing, Airbus Defence & Space and ESA for your valuable support and co-operation!
Background: The objective of the Copernicus LSTM Mission (Land Surface Temperature Monitoring) is to enable monitoring evapotranspiration (ET) rate at European field scale by capturing the variability of Land Surface Temperature (LST) (and hence ET) allowing more robust estimates of field-scale water productivity.
The Mains Power Distribution Unit (MPDU) will be used to supply electrical power to all Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE) belonging to one dedicated spacecraft Assembly, Integration and Test (AIT) environment. The Mains Power Distribution Unit will be used at various locations such as the spacecraft AIT locations, the environmental test facilities, etc.
